Maggie’s Box started in 2016 mainly selling women’s shoes handmade by local shoe makers in the Philippines in different styles and hues. What drew most attention and captured the hearts of many was the ‘Abaca Collection’. Made from indigenous material called Abaca, or manila hemp, this native plant is considered as the strongest natural fiber in world.
